Who was Blessed Carlo Acutis?
Carlo Acutis was an English-born Italian teenager who was born on May 3, 1991, and died of leukemia on October 12, 2006. He was a devout Catholic and had a strong love for the Eucharist. He was also known for his computer skills and used them to create websites about Eucharistic miracles and saints.
In 2013, Acutis was declared venerable and in 2020, he was declared blessed by Pope Francis. He will now be canonized as a saint on October 10, 2023.
Acutis's canonization is a reminder that all people, including young people, can live holy lives.
