Chase Congratulates Former LSU Teammate

Cincinnati Bengals star JaMarr Chase took to social media to congratulate his former LSU teammate Justin Jefferson after the Minnesota Vikings wideout agreed to a historic contract extension.

Jefferson's four-year, $140 million extension with $110 million guaranteed makes him the highest-paid wide receiver in NFL history. Chase, who is entering the final year of his rookie contract, is now in line for a similar mega-extension with the Bengals.

Jefferson's college teammates, quarterback Joe Burrow and receiver JaMarr Chase, are both thrilled for his success.

Burrow, who played with Jefferson at LSU, said, "I'm so proud of Justin. He's worked so hard for this and he deserves it." Chase added, "Justin is one of the best wide receivers in the NFL and he's going to continue to get better. I'm excited to see what he does this year."
